Laura explains the positives and negatives of using each way of payment and explains how most of it is down to personal preference. They discuss how a lot of bars, pubs, restaurants etc, post pandemic, no longer accept cash for payment, why they think this is and whether they are actually allowed to do that. This episode also highlights the possible security risks of using contactless payments with the vast majority of people using this preferred way of payment. Laura goes on to explain how and why passcodes and biometrics are crucial when using a mobile device for contactless payments and how to keep safe when doing online payments. They end the episode reminding us how important it is to report scams and how you shouldn’t feel ashamed of being a victim to this.
